PERSONAL PROFILE:
Dr. Abrahamian is board-certified in emergency medicine and has completed a research fellowship in infectious diseases. He has been involved in numerous infectious disease-related research projects resulting in publications in well-known peer-reviewed journals such as The New England Journal of Medicine, Clinical Infectious Diseases, and Annals of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Abrahamian has been honored with a variety of teaching awards, including the prestigious American College of Emergency Physicians Faculty Teaching Award in 2005, Council of Emergency Medicine Residency Directors Faculty Teaching Award in 2006, and American College of Emergency Physician’s Scientific Assembly Rookie Speaker of the Year Award in 2007.
