PERSONAL PROFILE:

Dr. Richman completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Emory University and his Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University. After serving as Medical Advisor for a public health project in Bangladesh, he returned for Internal Medicine training at Olive View-UCLA. Upon graduation, he assumed his current position developing innovative tools to improve quality and efficiency of care in the Departments of Emergency Medicine and Medicine and throughout Los Angeles County health facilities. Dr. Richman is a previous winner of the Emergency Department’s “Teacher of the Year” award. His wife, Virginia, is a public health planner with Los Angeles County.
