Today, EMC Meetings & Events has today become a highly respected leader in the meeting event industry.
With Sherry's over 25 years of experience in the meetings industry she leads EMC Meetings & Events global sourcing, account management and analytics teams to provide comprehensive meetings management solutions. Her diverse background includes strategic planning and sourcing initiatives, project management, talent acquisition, development and mentoring, technology product development and solutions consulting in addition to enterprise customer success.
She enjoys leveraging her entrepreneurial spirit and passion for people to promote best-in-class performance from her teams. She brings innovations to market, implements strategy and develops client relationships for life.
Sherry has earned a Strategic Meetings Management Certification (SMMC) and has a Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM). She is a graduate from Jacksonville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing.
With over 25 years of events management experience, Teresa uses her trademark skills of problem solving, creativity, and flexibility to help clients produce corporate events and meetings. She excels at logistics and operations, and her attention to detail means that events and meetings go smoothly from concept to completion.
Good at wearing multiple hats, Teresa is adept at responding quickly to changing circumstances, always maintaining an upbeat, can-do attitude. She specializes in customer service that nurtures positive, productive relationships with both clients and suppliers. Teresa advances her clients' mission by making the most of their event experiences, while minimizing cost.
This variety of experience provides Teresa with a depth of expertise to carefully determine thoughtful and technical answers to event flow and operations. Utilizing her analytical skills, she is able develop a detailed and comprehensive plan for successful implementation of any event. Her well-orchestrated processes deliver impactful results. As a dedicated team leader, her network spans across many industries and her onsite presence puts clients and guests at ease due to her seamless execution and dedication to exceptional results.
For over 12 years with EMC Meetings & Events, Susan has been focused on developing new accounts, while uncovering additional business opportunities within existing accounts. She works with EMC Meetings & Events client's meeting and event, procurement and purchasing departments; creating cost savings and partnerships globally to save time, money, and provide proven results to exceed client expectations. She has spent the last 20+ years in a variety of sales roles within the industry. Susan has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Dayton.
Debbie has been EMC Meetings & Events expert in all things in Cvent's event registration and attendee management and Crowd Compass's event mobile app systems for over 12 years. She is advanced certified in Cvent and responsible for the overall development, execution and management of EMC Meetings & Events numerous meeting registration sites. Before her commitment to the success of EMC Meetings & Events, she held various hospitality positions in restaurants, incentive companies and hotels bringing a wealth of knowledge in her transition to her current position.
Originally from Excelsior, MN, Debbie received her degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and is a Disney College Program Alumna.
A true animal lover, she currently lives in Fort Wayne, IN with her husband, daughter and many family pets.
Hayley has been with EMCME for over 5 years working to build and improve our sales, company, marketing, and technology processes. Her experience in the hospitality sales industry helped hone her skills in contract negotiating, event planning and event technology. She graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Science in Public and Corporate Communication and from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in Print Journalism.
Hayley loves spending time with her husband, Mark, and their two children. On her off time she loves spending time outdoors, traveling with her husband, relaxing with friends and cooking.
At EMC Meetings & Events, Tara is continuously building and maintaining strong relationships within all divisions of her accounts. She serves as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to her accounts. She has been with EMC Meetings & Events since February 2016, Cvent certified and is a Certified Meeting Planner. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a B.A in Hotel, Restaurant and Travel Management. She has worked in all facets of the hospitality industry and specifically as an event manager since 2005.
Tara loves to travel and if she isn't traveling for work she loves traveling with her husband and kids Hunter (8), Olivia (6 1/2) and Summer (5)
Laurie comes to EMC Meetings & Events as a Sr. Meeting Manager with 20+ years' managing corporate meetings and events in the financial services sector. With her extensive experience she has developed exceptional interpersonal skills, strong vendor relations and a proven track record of quality client service. In her spare time she enjoys relaxing with her husband and 4 daughters at the beach. When she is not at the beach you can find Laurie at the softball fields watching her two youngest play, gardening, exercising or biking around New Jersey.
Jill is the Director of Human Resources and is responsible for providing the management of staffing, benefits, and training. In her previous experience as a Design Principal, she was responsible for the daily operations and budget for a large team of interior designers for over 30 years. Jill enjoyed utilizing her training in Myers-Briggs to improve communications and help people understand each other's differences. Jill loves strength training, tennis, boating, travel, design and always having something to do with family and friends.
